MIC Project call: Windows 8 Metro Style apps - Brussels

MIC Brussels is launching a call for projects to build Windows 8 Metro Style Apps. We are looking for companies, developers, startups and students to join the program and receive training and guidance in building an app.
Windows 8 Consumer Preview is available today, with a huge monetization and discoverability opportunity for Windows 8 apps at with global reach. The world is your new marketplace.

The project call consists of a series of training sessions, coaching and app excellence certification labs to help companies and developers get their apps on Windows 8 Metro.

Trainers and coaches
Loïc Bar

Loïc Bar started an ICT company 4 years ago and had the chance to work on multiple projects all over the world leveraging Microsoft technologies such as Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, etc. Today, Loïc takes technical leadership on web based development and will be responsible for Windows 8 development. He wrote three technical books and was MVP from 2008 to 2010.
Leslie Cottenje, co-found PurePlexity

Leslie is co-founder of Pureplexity, digital agency from Bruges, where she is responsible for interface design and UX of web and touch projects. Leslie has a linguistic background but soon specialised in translation of web interfaces and software. From there on she continued to dive deeper into user interfaces across platforms and became certified as a UX designer. She also guides external projects as a UX consultant.
