Discovering Windows Azure and the Cloud : Technical Opportunity

Developers, IT Professionals, book your agenda and join us to discover what the Clouds / Windows Azure can offer you!
Windows Azure is an operating system that serves as the development, service hosting, and service management environment for the Windows Azure platform. Windows Azure is an internet-scale cloud computing and services platform hosted in Microsoft data centers, which provides an operating system and a set of developer services which can be used individually or together. It gives developers the choice to build web applications; applications running on connected devices, PCs, or servers; or hybrid solutions offering the best of both worlds. New or enhanced applications can be built using existing skills with the Visual Studio development environment and the .NET Framework. With its standards-based and interoperable approach, the services platform supports multiple internet protocols, including HTTP, REST, SOAP, and plain XML
With the Windows Azure session for Technical profiles which includes a comprehensive set of technical content including demos, hands-on labs, and presentations, come and hear all about what Windows Azure offers developers.
Find out more by registering and joining us in the Windows Azure session for IT professionals and Developers !

We’ll discuss how the Azure load balancer distributes the application request across multiple compute nodes, how to deal with statefull web UI frontends, why business logic should be stateless and how SQL Azure works differently compared to SQL Server. You’ll see some real life demos of applications running on Azure giving you the needed guidance for architecting Azure applications

It this session you get a detailed overview of all the steps involved in the lifecycle of an Azure application. We’ll discuss how to work with the local SDK for development, how to debug Azure applications in Visual Studio, how to deploy manually or automated, how to use performance and diagnostics APIS, how to work with System Center Operations Manager and how to effectively scale-out applications and datastores. This will be a demo driven session providing some best practices in Azure ALM.
